Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ongoing enrollment in a mechanical engineering degree program.
  • At least 2 years in progress toward an engineering degree.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office software.
  • Conscientiousness concerning the accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness of results.
  • Thorough, organized, and detailed approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients.
  • Flexible working style and ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • GPA of at least 3.2/4.0.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Solidworks, Mathcad, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Completion of at least one semester of upper division (junior/senior level) engineering coursework.
