About the position

ASML is seeking a Mechatronics/Robotics Intern to work in Wilton, CT, focusing on mechatronics and robotics within advanced lithography tools. The intern will collaborate with experienced engineers to tackle real-world challenges, gaining hands-on experience in a corporate setting while contributing to the development of high-precision equipment in the field of photolithography.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment alongside experienced engineers on real-life mechatronics topics.
• Solve actual issues or design challenges faced by the group.
• Perform autonomous work including modeling, data collection, data analysis, and test execution in the lab or clean room.
• Document and present findings, culminating in an end-of-program presentation to the team.
• Learn about working in a corporate setting and gain hands-on experience solving real-world problems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics (minimum of 3 years completed).
• Exposure or specialization in mechatronics engineering, robotics, or closely related areas preferred.
• Basic experience with MATLAB / SIMULINK or similar tools.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
