About the position

The Sales Merchandising Internship at Tiffany & Co. offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the luxury retail environment. Interns will work closely with a dynamic team to bridge product category management and sales execution, gaining hands-on experience in translating product vision into captivating in-store experiences. This ten-week program includes on-the-job learning, networking opportunities, and exposure to various facets of the business, all while contributing to the legacy of Tiffany & Co.

Responsibilities

  • Dive into sales data, market trends, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Assist in preparing materials for sales performance reviews and budget planning, including compiling data and creating presentations.
  • Help track the progress of new initiatives across different markets and stores, gathering feedback and communicating updates to the team.
  • Assist in developing space planning guidelines for new store concepts to ensure optimal product showcasing.
  • Support the team in maintaining assortment strategies for different store types and display themes.
  • Analyze data on product performance to understand the lifecycle of different collections and inform decisions about product placement and promotions.
  • Assist in gathering feedback and contributing to launch strategies for new products, ensuring a smooth rollout.
  • Help create materials and resources for sales teams to effectively introduce new products to customers.
  • Monitor the performance of new product launches and contribute to adjustments in strategy as needed.
  • Provide essential support to the team by handling administrative tasks and organizing data.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in retail, merchandising, and luxury goods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in a luxury retail environment.
