About the position
Zekelman is offering exciting internship opportunities for the Summer of 2025! Our internships generally start in Late May and wrap up Mid-August (some flexibility). As an intern with us, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment. As a leading player in the steel and pipe industry and owner of a dynamic start-up Z Modular, this internship will provide you with a comprehensive insight into various aspects of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various company projects and initiatives
- Participate in day-to-day operational tasks to gain practical experience
- Contribute to the development of reports, presentations, and process improvements
- Attend meetings and field trips to enhance your knowledge of the industry
- Engage in continuous learning by shadowing experienced professionals and mentors
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university/college
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as in a team
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tasks and challenges
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute creative ideas
