Responsibilities
- Work with a team to apply knowledge in cyber or information security.
- Engage in adversary emulation and deception techniques.
- Conduct cyber forensics and analyze cyber threats.
- Assist in the development of secure and resilient systems.
- Participate in operational technology engineering and response activities.
- Contribute to the creation of cyber policy and best practices.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time student in an accredited degree-seeking program in Cyber or Information Security or a related field.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and devices such as WireShark, ELK, and Splunk.
- Understanding of cybersecurity systems and products.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity operations.
- Sustained excellence in academic performance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience applying cybersecurity knowledge in an internship or research position.
- Familiarity with design recovery, software analysis, and reverse engineering tools.
- Experience using cybersecurity systems and products.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations and policy development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, XML, HTML, C#, Objective C, and database design including SQL.
- Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
