Responsibilities

  • Assist in data analysis and visualization tasks.

  • Participate in systems modeling and analysis to derive insights from data.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Data Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of data retrieval methods from databases and other systems using queries and exporting capabilities.
  • Understanding of statistical software and data visualization tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience applying data science knowledge in an internship or research position.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (including libraries like scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas), Scala/Java, C/C++/C#, and Objective C.
  • Experience with database design and development (SQL, Neo4J, MongoDB) and cloud services like AWS.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
