As an intern in our electrical or computer engineering team, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that contributes to critical mission challenges across various domains, including electronic warfare, communications, and maritime system development. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to develop, evaluate, and test practical solutions that facilitate technology transition and inform acquisition processes. This role will allow you to work on cutting-edge projects involving sensing, communications, processing, and more, while also gaining insights into the technical products we deliver to meet our clients' needs. As part of your internship, you will be involved in various aspects of electrical engineering, including but not limited to, digital signal processing, wireless communications, embedded security, and rapid prototyping. You will also have the chance to explore advanced manufacturing techniques and participate in mechanical and reliability analysis. Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to apply knowledge in electrical or computer engineering.
  • Engage in projects related to electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/radar, and signal processing.
  • Contribute to communications, SIGINT, spectrum, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT) projects.
  • Assist in electronics and embedded security initiatives.
  • Participate in rapid electronic and hardware prototyping and advanced manufacturing tasks.
  • Support maritime system development, acoustic & ocean modeling, SONAR system analysis, and transducer design.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and one or more areas such as digital signal processing, wireless communications, or embedded software.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience applying electrical engineering or computer engineering knowledge in an internship or research/lab position.
  • Hands-on skills in at least one programming language.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
