About the position

As part of your internship, you will be involved in a range of activities, including rapid electronic and hardware prototyping, advanced manufacturing, and reliability analysis. You will also have the chance to explore areas such as signal processing, embedded security, and photonics. Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to apply knowledge in electrical or computer engineering.
  • Engage in projects related to electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/radar, and signal processing.
  • Participate in the development of communications systems, SIGINT, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT) technologies.
  • Contribute to electronics and embedded security initiatives.
  • Assist in rapid electronic and hardware prototyping and advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Support maritime system development, including acoustic & ocean modeling and SONAR system analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and relevant areas such as digital signal processing, wireless communications, and embedded software.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in applying electrical engineering or computer engineering knowledge in an internship or research/lab position.
  • Hands-on skills in at least one programming language.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
