Your role will involve working on projects related to sensing, communications, processing, and more. You will gain exposure to a variety of technical areas, including but not limited to antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/radar, photonics, signal processing, and embedded security. Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to apply knowledge in electrical or computer engineering.
  • Develop, evaluate, and test solutions in areas such as electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, and sensors/radar.
  • Engage in rapid electronic and hardware prototyping and advanced manufacturing.
  • Contribute to projects involving communications, SIGINT, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT).
  • Assist in maritime system development and SONAR system analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and areas such as digital signal processing, wireless communications, and embedded software.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in applying electrical engineering or computer engineering knowledge in an internship or research position.
  • Hands-on skills in one or more programming languages.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
