As an intern in electrical or computer engineering, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that contributes to a safer, healthier, and more secure world. You will collaborate with a team to apply your academic knowledge and gain hands-on experience in various technical areas, including electronic warfare, communications, and rapid prototyping. Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop, evaluate, and test solutions in electronic systems and engineering.
• Apply knowledge in areas such as electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/radar, and signal processing.
• Engage in projects related to communications, SIGINT, spectrum, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT).
• Participate in electronics and embedded security initiatives.
• Contribute to rapid electronic and hardware prototyping and advanced manufacturing efforts.
• Assist in maritime system development, acoustic & ocean modeling, SONAR system analysis, and transducer design.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and familiarity with digital signal processing, wireless communications, computer architecture, and embedded software.
• Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in applying electrical or computer engineering knowledge in an internship or research/lab position.
• Hands-on skills in at least one programming language.
• Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
