Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to develop and evaluate technical solutions in electronic systems and engineering.
  • Apply knowledge in areas such as electronic warfare, antennas/electromagnetics, sensors/radar, and signal processing.
  • Engage in hands-on projects involving communications, SIGINT, spectrum, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT).
  • Contribute to electronics and embedded security initiatives.
  • Participate in rapid electronic and hardware prototyping and advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in maritime system development, including acoustic & ocean modeling and SONAR system analysis.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering theory and relevant topics such as digital signal processing, wireless communications, and embedded software.
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in applying electrical or computer engineering knowledge in an internship or research/lab position.
  • Hands-on skills in one or more programming languages.
  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
