About the position

The Intervention Specialist at I Am Boundless, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring behavioral disorders. This position involves working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective instructional strategies based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement instruction for students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring disorders.
• Design functional learning activities in natural environments.
• Monitor and report on student progress toward educational goals in grades pre-k through 12th grade.
• Guide classroom support staff in educational instruction activities and implementation of intensive teaching sessions.
• Lead designated skill set/project meetings in collaboration with supervisors.
• Attend regular meetings with the clinical team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio.
• 1-2 years of experience working as an Intervention Specialist or in a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching experience through field placement/student teaching and/or employment; experience with students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders preferred.
