About the position

The Cardinal Local School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified Intervention Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance with educational regulations, timelines, and deadlines, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. The Intervention Specialist will also utilize technology as a tool for teaching and learning, enhancing the educational experience for students. In addition to IEP development, the Intervention Specialist will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create a supportive learning environment. This includes assessing student progress, modifying instructional strategies, and providing direct support to students in both individual and group settings. The position demands a proactive approach to addressing the diverse needs of students, fostering their academic and social development. Candidates must possess a current and valid license as an Intervention Specialist and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and work with students, families, and staff.
