About the position

Learn It Systems is seeking passionate Title I Teachers to work in K-8 classrooms in Queens and Brooklyn. The role focuses on providing high-quality education services in reading and mathematics to students in need, collaborating with school personnel and parents to create exceptional learning experiences. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities during school hours, emphasizing teamwork and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
• Plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting.
• Administer pre and post assessments to track student progress.
• Consistently track student progress and data.
• Manage the classroom effectively and provide a safe learning environment.
• Escort students to and from the Title I classroom.

Requirements

• Active and valid fingerprinting with NYCDOE.
• Experience working with Title I students is a plus.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
• Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
