About the position
We are seeking a full-time interventional cardiologist to join our team due to increased patient demand. This role involves a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on providing comprehensive cardiac care. The position includes a call schedule and offers a variety of interventional procedures and diagnostic services.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology services including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Manage patient consultations and follow-ups in a clinical setting.
- Participate in a call rotation for STEMI and cardiology cases.
- Collaborate with hospitalists for patient admissions and care.
- Utilize advanced cardiac imaging and interventional techniques in practice.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in cardiology.
- Completion of an accredited interventional cardiology fellowship.
- Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in interventional procedures.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with peripheral interventions.
- Familiarity with advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
- Interest in academic or teaching opportunities.
