About the position
This position is for an Interventional Cardiologist in a high-volume independent cardiology practice. The role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient consultative work, focusing on comprehensive patient care in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. The candidate will perform traditional interventional procedures and collaborate closely with a team of cardiologists and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform traditional interventional procedures including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, PCIs, and PFO closures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, referral sources, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in practice development and growth initiatives.
- Share call schedule equally with other physicians.
Requirements
- Completion of fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
- Board eligible or board certified in interventional cardiology.
- Valid medical license in the state of Florida at time of hire.
- Collegial, hardworking, patient-centered, and teamwork-focused.
Nice-to-haves
- Bi-lingual in Spanish highly desired.
