The Interventional Cardiologist position at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital involves joining a well-established cardiology group in the Greater Fort Walton Beach area. The role focuses on providing specialized cardiac care, including high-risk procedures and close coordination with cardiovascular surgery. Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology services including high-risk PCIs, CTOs, ASDs, PFOs, Watchman, Mitraclip, and TAVR procedures.
- Collaborate with the cardiovascular surgery practice on campus for coordinated patient care.
- Participate in the development of a structural heart clinic in the near future.
- Support and mentor medical students and residents during their training.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Board eligible or certified in interventional cardiology.
- Experience in performing a range of interventional procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in interventional cardiology.
