About the position

The Interventional Cardiologist position at Valley Health System offers a collaborative environment within a growing Heart and Vascular Program. The position is based at Winchester Medical Center, which is equipped with advanced facilities and performs a high volume of cardiovascular procedures. The role includes shared call responsibilities and a focus on work-life balance, with a pathway to partnership after two years.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of 5 Interventional Cardiologists in a collaborative environment.
• Participate in research and teaching opportunities.
• Provide cardiovascular consultative and procedural services at Winchester Medical Center.
• Engage in shared call responsibilities, approximately 1 in 5 for interventional call and 1 in 7 for weekend call.
• Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system in both clinic and hospital settings.

Requirements

• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• Ability to obtain a medical license in Virginia and West Virginia.
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority.
• Must be a US citizen; no Visa positions available.
