About the position
We are seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our dynamic medical team in Wilmington, DE. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing individualized care to patients with various pain conditions. The role emphasizes a collaborative approach within a multispecialty team, focusing on both conservative and interventional pain management techniques to enhance patient quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient exams and evaluations, including medical history and relevant imaging studies.
- Provide direct patient care, including diagnoses and treatment plans for a variety of pain types and conditions.
- Perform interventional procedures as medically necessary.
- Refer patients for imaging and consultations with other specialties as needed.
- Regularly reassess patients to determine the effectiveness of treatment and progress.
- Educate patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate treatment plans with patients and other team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management.
- MD or DO with a current/active medical license in Delaware.
