About the position
ProCare Therapy is seeking qualified School Psychologists to work with K-8 students in Maywood, Illinois for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. The role offers both part-time and full-time positions, with a flexible schedule of 3 to 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in School Psychology and relevant licensure, and will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and interventions to support students' mental health and learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for K-8 students.
- Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to support student needs.
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education regulations.
- Commit to cultural competence and equitable service delivery.
Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- PEL with psych endorsement required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of school psychologist experience required.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning disabilities.
