About the position
The Automation and Manual QA Tester role at Insight Global involves designing and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile and web applications. The position focuses on ensuring quality and performance through end-to-end testing, utilizing tools like Appium, Selenium, and BrowserStack. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Java/JavaScript and CI/CD workflows to automate testing processes and troubleshoot system issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium.
- Conduct end-to-end testing on mobile and web applications.
- Perform performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Document testing results and identify bottlenecks.
- Validate database structures and queries as part of the testing process.
- Troubleshoot system issues and analyze root causes.
- Recommend solutions based on analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automation/manual testing.
- Proficient in mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android).
- Extensive experience with Appium and Selenide.
- Skilled in Java and JavaScript.
- Expertise in cross-browser and device testing using BrowserStack or similar tools.
- Experience in enhancing and setting up CI/CD pipelines with tools like App Center and Bitrise.
- Experience developing and implementing automation frameworks.
- Prior experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, and JUnit.
- Prior knowledge working with React Native.
- Strong experience with JMeter and JUnit.
- Hands-on experience working with tools such as Postman.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
