About the position

Insight Global is seeking a remote senior React/Next.js Developer to join a Fortune 10 retail pharmacy client. This position is crucial as it involves supporting the organization's retail shopping website, which is a key component of their online presence. The role will encompass a mix of new development projects as well as fixing and debugging existing applications, ensuring that the website remains functional and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React and Next.js, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications. Responsibilities

• Support the organization's retail shopping website by developing new features and functionalities.
• Fix and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and project initiatives.
• Build and maintain Restful APIs and web services using Node.js.
• Create large-scale web applications using ReactJS and NextJS.
• Write and maintain UI unit tests using tools like Jest and Jasmine.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ReactJS development experience.
• 2-3 recent years of experience working with ReactJS and NextJS in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and NextJS architecture.
• Experience building Restful APIs and web services using Node.js.
• Proven experience in creating large-scale web applications, specifically with ReactJS.
• Familiarity with React Testing Library (RTL), Webpack, and StencilJS.
• Experience with complex state management tools like Redux or React Query.
• Experience writing UI unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to mentor and guide other developers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
