About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for developing test plans, creating test cases, and performing manual tests to ensure software functionality, installation, and usability. This role involves managing bugs, tracking errors, and defining quality assurance metrics. The position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension and requires on-site presence two days a week in either Queretaro or Mexico City.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases for software functionality.
• Perform manual testing for software installation and usability.
• Manage bugs and error tracking.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst with a focus on data validation and comparison.
• Experience with manual testing.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with SQL.
