Insight Global is seeking a fully remote offshore Data Engineer to support the data exchange team of a large healthcare company. This role is critical as it involves supporting the migration of data from Hadoop to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Data Engineer will be responsible for understanding and following the processes necessary to triage the migration effectively. This includes determining what data needs to be migrated, running both the old and new systems, and ensuring that the results match accurately. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of data engineering principles and be proficient in Python, Spark, and PySpark. The position offers a compensation range of $5/hr to $10/hr, with the exact amount varying based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
