About the position

The Tier 3 ACI Network Engineer role at Insight Global involves troubleshooting complex enterprise networks to resolve downtime and outages, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex enterprise networks to quickly resolve downtime and outages.
• Respond to network management system alarms according to established processes.
• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
• Manage issues/customers by setting expectations and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to engineers and customers.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers.
• Utilize the Cisco technical service lab to recreate and resolve customer issues.

Requirements

• 7-10 years experience in network support.
• Working ACI experience.
• Experience with Nexus switches.
• CCIE level knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Incident management and Change management processes.
• Strong practical knowledge of troubleshooting Routing and Switching protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and STP.
• Strong practical knowledge of protocols including VRF, VPC, MPLS, Multicast, HSRP, TCP/IP.
• Strong practical knowledge of Cisco platforms including 6500, Nexus series switches & FEX.
• Experience in handling and tracking tickets.
• Proven crisis management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Open to learning new technologies and protocols.
