About the position

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Intranet Operations Analyst to join our Knowledge Management (KM) team. This role is part of a developing KM team, and candidates should be prepared to influence the strategic direction and building of the capability. The successful candidate will play a vital role in contributing to the management and continued development of the firm's global intranet, employee engagement, and KM offerings. The Intranet Operations Analyst will assist with the management of the intranet homepage and landing pages to ensure a proper balance of content and tools. This includes building relationships with content providers across the firm, which include marketing and business development leaders, content strategists, and others throughout our business units and corporate groups. The role involves developing and maintaining sites, pages, and libraries, as well as authoring content for the global intranet site and other communication campaigns. The analyst will manage content calendars and content gathering processes to keep the intranet up to date with the latest news, communications, and files. Monitoring intranet analytics and providing reports that help content owners improve their presence on the site and drive usage of the intranet is also a key responsibility. The analyst will champion the use of the intranet, promoting the business benefits, and encouraging adoption across the Firm. In addition to intranet management, the analyst will support and moderate online communities within our technology environment and assist in the planning, implementation, and/or ongoing maintenance of our various technology applications within the Microsoft 365 environment. The role also includes supporting the growth and evolution of the KM team at A&M by applying KM best practices in ways that best ensure success of the KM support model. The analyst will share, influence, and encourage best practices and knowledge sharing throughout the region and firm, specifically around KM practices and Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to assist with tasks outside immediate key role requirements for the benefit of overall organizational success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of the intranet homepage and landing pages to ensure a proper balance of content and tools.
  • Build relationships with content providers across the firm, including marketing and business development leaders, content strategists, and others.
  • Develop and maintain sites, pages, and libraries, as well as author content for the global intranet site and other communication campaigns.

Requirements

  • Recent college graduates and/or experienced professionals with 0-3 years of experience in knowledge management, internal communications, or content management.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area or similar work/technical experience in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management or Technology.
  • Internship or work experience with transferrable skills preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or familiarity with SharePoint Online (SPO) or other intranet products.
  • Ability to run and analyze reports and dashboards using Power BI or other tools to monitor content effectiveness and trends.
  • Knowledge and experience operating in the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem is also highly beneficial.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to present various ideas and solutions for all audiences.
  • Design experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar products.
  • Consultative approach when partnering with the business.
  • Project and change management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with multiple stakeholder groups and senior management.
  • Ability to drive to results, in a fast-paced environment, while having a flexible work style.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated history of operating with urgency, responsiveness, and client first focus.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography.
  • Discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
