About the position
The Intune Consultant role is designed for an experienced professional who will lead the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft Intune solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of endpoint management and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft Intune configurations, policies, and integrations for enterprise mobility and device management.
- Lead migration projects from legacy solutions to Intune.
- Configure and manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices through Intune.
- Develop and enforce compliance policies, application deployments, and conditional access configurations.
- Collaborate with security teams to align Intune solutions with compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Configure device encryption, endpoint security, and other security features.
- Act as the escalation point for complex Intune-related technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client IT teams.
- Create comprehensive documentation for Intune configurations, policies, and best practices.
- Generate usage and compliance reports to support business objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting or endpoint management.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory.
- Expertise in configuring Intune policies for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD, conditional access, and Microsoft security features.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with hybrid environments integrating on-premises infrastructure and Intune.
- Familiarity with other MDM solutions (e.g., JAMF, VMware Workspace ONE).
- Knowledge of SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and co-management scenarios.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
