About the position

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of INV STORE SPEC III - Assistant Commissary Manager at the Travis County Jail Facility in Austin, Texas. The Assistant Commissary Manager will work closely with the Commissary Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain inventory levels, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and supervising staff, managing financial transactions, and ensuring that all commissary services are delivered in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, the Assistant Commissary Manager will be expected to assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the commissary operations.
