About the position

The Buyer position focuses on inventory analysis, demand planning, and purchasing management specifically within the electronics sector. The role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to support the company's operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute sourcing strategies
• Manage strategic partnerships with suppliers
• Collaborate with Engineering and QC Teams on product development processes
• Purchase MRO, components and services
• Monitor and analyze inventory supply levels
• Establish reorder points, optimizing inventory supply levels
• Obtain quotes from suppliers
• Identify and select suppliers with the best terms and rates
• Negotiate and close purchases
• Submit purchase orders
• Administer supplier contracts
• Assess supplier performance, troubleshooting issues and complaints as they arise
• Facilitate ISO 9001 Quality Audits
• Run routine, special and ad hoc reports
• Conduct routine, special and ad hoc analysis
• Handle special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Purchasing / Sourcing / Procurement / Buying experience
• Electronics Purchasing experience
• ISO9001 experience
• A Bachelor's Degree
