About the position

The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing stock, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a focus on data collection and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to enhance inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is maintained while minimizing excess.
• Manage and maintain Supply Chain and Inventory Metrics and KPIs.
• Identify excess parts & components and collaborate with OEM and Supply Chain to remove from inventory.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Create reports using Tableau to visualize inventory metrics and support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the development of strategies for buying and replenishing stock based on analysis of demand forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2 or more years of experience in asset management or planning, preferably in inventory management.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of demand planning processes.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suites, particularly Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and team members.
