About the position

FUCHS Lubricants is seeking an Inventory Analytics Manager to join our team in Harvey, IL. This position is a single contributor role that reports directly to the Sr Director of Supply Chain Planning. The primary focus of this role is to lead the business towards sustainable inventory levels and targets, emphasizing best-in-class practices related to Working Capital, Days Cost of Goods Sold, and Inventory Rotation. This position is critical for inventory cost management and continuous improvement to meet operational and sales objectives. In this role, you will provide leadership in a collaborative business atmosphere, driving visibility, consistency, and actions to ensure Fuchs is positioned to provide superior service and growth. You will lead regular check-ins with business function leads to track core KPIs, analyze leading and lagging driver insights, and recommend actions to resolve gaps in inventory objectives. Monitoring inventory levels and trends for successful optimization will be a key responsibility, which includes dissecting large and complex data sets to derive insights that drive business decisions. Additionally, you will effectively present results and initiatives to senior and executive-level management and own the development and enhancement of reporting dashboards.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in supply chain, accounting, or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or inventory analytics.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong data analytics skills in Excel required.
  • Experience with digital reporting software such as PowerBi.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Practical thinker with excellent decision-making skills and solid business acumen.
