About the position

The Inventory and Logistics Supervisor at Architectural Glass Services, LLC is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials for the manufacturing and installation of façade solutions. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating the receiving, handling, and delivery of materials while ensuring traceability and compliance with safety regulations. The supervisor will maintain accurate inventory records, facilitate communication between teams, and respond to urgent logistical needs to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe working environment by ensuring proper training and developing a safety culture.
• Maintain accurate inventory of project materials and final products, ensuring traceability of materials.
• Satisfy project material requests and work orders to keep production and installation running smoothly.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and products with accurate documentation and communication.
• Guarantee clear communication with peers to facilitate coordination between processes and reporting to management.
• Respond to urgent situations requiring extra effort to meet deadlines and customer needs.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in inventory and logistics management.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and techniques.
• Ability to plan and organize inbound and outbound shipments.
• Experience in creating and managing Bills of Lading and packing slips.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to transportation and logistics systems.
• Proficiency in data entry and management within inventory control systems.
• Understanding of raw materials, production processes, and supply chain management.
