About the position

The Inventory and Production Manager at Green Envee is a pivotal role within our skincare company, responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and managing inventory effectively. This position requires a vocal and energetic candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The manager will be tasked with ensuring that production tasks are assigned efficiently to warehouse employees to meet sales demand. This includes pulling usage reports and ordering raw materials necessary for the production agenda, as well as updating reordering thresholds to maintain sufficient stock levels at all times. The role also involves forecasting and demand planning based on sales history to ensure that inventory levels align with customer needs. In addition to inventory management, the Inventory and Production Manager will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and maintaining communication with both local and overseas vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and order statuses. The manager will also handle customer returns, adjusting inventory as needed, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and organized on a daily basis. This position is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of our production processes and ensuring that we can meet customer demands promptly and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to assess sales data and make informed decisions regarding inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications is essential, as the role requires the ability to work with numbers and analyze data effectively. The Inventory and Production Manager will play a crucial role in the overall success of our operations, contributing to the growth and efficiency of Green Envee.

Responsibilities

  • Assign production tasks to warehouse employees to keep up with sales demand.
  • Pull usage reports and order raw materials needed for the production agenda.
  • Update reordering thresholds to ensure sufficient stock is available at all times, including forecasting and demand planning.
  • Source raw materials and communicate with local and overseas vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and order statuses.
  • Work on the receiving end of customer returns and adjust inventory as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized on a daily basis.
  • Receive materials against purchase orders.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in inventory control (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills for demand planning based on sales history.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize important projects.
