About the position

Greene Resources is seeking an Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist to join a dynamic and growing team! The Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our inventory management system and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in inventory management and data analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels for all products, conducting regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy, and identifying discrepancies. In this role, you will coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods, utilizing supply chain management principles to optimize inventory control processes. You will also operate forklifts and other equipment to move and organize inventory, collect and analyze data related to inventory levels, demand, and sales trends. Performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve inventory issues will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective inventory management strategies. Staying updated on industry trends, including e-commerce and Nielsen data, will inform your inventory decisions and help drive the success of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Utilize supply chain management principles to optimize inventory control processes
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and organize inventory

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies
  • Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track and manage inventory
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including e-commerce and Nielsen data, to inform inventory decisions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in SQL and SAP
  • Familiarity with financial modeling concepts for inventory forecasting
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
