The Inventory Associate position at Advantex Solutions involves managing inventory, processing orders, and making deliveries. The role is essential for ensuring accurate stock levels and improving operational efficiency within the company.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor inventory and ensure accurate stock levels
• Develop and share ideas to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Assist with fabricating and packaging products as needed
• Assist panel fabrication department as needed
• Coordinate and label devices with job specific details
• Receive and unload inventory from trucks, break down and assort as needed
• Load, unload, prepare, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Make deliveries to job sites
• Order material for projects pertaining to job schedule
• Handle returns and warranty processing
• Provide customer service via email and phone
• Follow up with vendors for lead times and shipping info
• Collaborate with the engineering department to ensure proper devices and components are ordered
• Work with other departments to ensure inventory is available as projects progress
• Research new devices and products

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in inventory control
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Team oriented, self-motivated, and hands-on
• Ability to analyze information, identify priorities, and problem solve
• Strong work ethic
• Detail oriented and punctual
• Well organized
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with computers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
