About the position

The Inventory Associate position at a leading healthcare company involves managing inventory processes, including cycle counts, product verification, and compliance with policies. The role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the proper handling of controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts when necessary.
• Verify paperwork with total number of totes from the distribution center (DC).
• Identify and separate controlled substances.
• Unload product from the truck.
• Verify National Drug Code (NDC) and quantity of each item and reconcile it against purchase orders (PO).
• File and maintain all DC receipts and paperwork.
• Use a handheld scanner application to scan, receive, and reconcile incoming product, including manual entry of received quantities.
• Assist with annual physical inventory.
• Apply mathematical reasoning: count, multiply, and calculate pack size.
• Log and report total put away lines per hour daily, including total items received, and monitor daily performance.
• Report errors from DC, such as mis-picks, shortages, overages, and damage.
• Perform weekly or monthly sweeps for short-dated and expired products.
• Rotate product on shelves following the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Comply with all appropriate policies including the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
• Assist with reverse logistics credit returns program, maintaining records and preparing/scheduling shipments.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• RF Scanner experience is a plus.
