Inventory Clerk - Cannabis Dispensary

About the position

The Inventory Clerk at Urbana is responsible for maintaining compliance with state regulations and ensuring the store is well-stocked with a variety of premium cannabis products. This role involves working closely with a team of retail and loss prevention professionals to support the operational needs of the dispensary, particularly in the new Oakland location. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend shifts, to meet the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with state regulations regarding cannabis inventory.
• Ensure the store is stocked with a wide variety of premium cannabis products.
• Collaborate with retail and loss prevention teams to support operational needs.
• Assist in inventory procedures and best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to co-workers.

Requirements

• 1-2 years previous Inventory or Stock Associate experience in retail, restaurant, manufacturing or parts inventory.
• Ability to lift bins of inventory and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be computer friendly, with proficiency in Google Suite being a plus.
• Previous experience with retail or stock room sale systems such as Treez, Leaf Logix, Dutchie, or METRC is a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory procedures and best practices is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Professional and personable demeanor is expected.
• Positive, can-do attitude, solution-based thinker, organized and results-driven.
• Team player willing to support co-workers and customers.
