About the position

The Inventory Clerk in Supply Chain Management at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is responsible for managing the inventory of supplies and equipment within the organization. This role involves monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate tracking records to support the operational needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, order, stock, and transport supplies and/or equipment for the organization.
  • Ensure timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.
  • Maintain storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues/problems.
  • Maintain accurate tracking records for inventory.
  • Ensure stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
  • Engage customers on a regular basis to ensure good service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with healthcare supply chain processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
