Inventory Clerk

About the position

The Inventory Clerk will arrange product kits, handle inbound and outbound inventory transfers, and perform frequent location audits throughout the warehouse. This role involves performing material handling functions efficiently and orderly in various areas such as warehouses, tool rooms, and supply rooms. The Inventory Clerk will also be responsible for examining and inspecting products for wear, defects, and incorrect quantities, and reporting any damage accordingly. Additionally, the position requires recording inventory transactions using an ERP system and operating material movement and safety equipment appropriately while adhering to safe work habits.

Responsibilities

• Perform inbound and outbound material handling functions in an efficient and orderly manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Examine and inspect product for wear, defects and incorrect quantity, reporting any damage accordingly.
• Record inventory transactions using ERP System.
• Operate material movement and safety equipment appropriately with safe work habits (forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, hoists, etc.).

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move 50 lb parts or fixtures.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and reach overhead to assemble and/or move products.
• Must be able to work in a safety sensitive role, fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol.
• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for an entire shift.
