About the position

The Inventory Clerk position involves managing inventory for customer orders, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate stock levels. The role requires operating various tools and equipment, including forklifts and saws, while adhering to safety and company policies. This is a full-time position with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory for customer placed orders verifying quality using calipers and micrometers and tape measures
• Package material for shipping to customer
• Cut material as needed for customer orders
• Load and unload all incoming and outgoing freight
• Operate forklift to move inventory and skids
• Put away all incoming goods into proper storage locations
• Assist in physical inventories and counts as needed
• Follow company policies and ISO procedures
• Perform miscellaneous housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED)
• 6 months experience in inventory management or related field
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience operating a forklift

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with chop saw, band saw, and table saw operation
• Familiarity with ISO procedures
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
