About the position

Air Wisconsin Airlines is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated team. As a regional airline operating under the American Eagle brand, we pride ourselves on providing safe and pleasant travel experiences for our customers. The Inventory Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe warehouse environment and ensuring an accurate inventory system for aircraft parts, materials, and supplies. This position requires adherence to all required policies, practices, and procedures to ensure the efficient handling of inventory and compliance with safety regulations. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for performing various administrative functions associated with the processing and movement of aircraft parts and company supplies. This includes executing computer transactions necessary to maintain an accurate inventory, processing shipments using shipping software, and ensuring the proper shipment of dangerous goods in compliance with company policies and the International Air Transport Association guidelines. The role also involves unpacking, packing, inspecting, stocking, and storing parts and products using standard warehouse tools and equipment, including motorized vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks. In addition to these responsibilities, the Inventory Clerk will be tasked with maintaining the security of the Parts and Supply warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and stored safely. This position is essential to the overall operations of Air Wisconsin Airlines, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our airline services.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative functions associated with processing and movement of aircraft parts and company supplies.
  • Performs computer transactions required to maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Processes various shipments utilizing shipping software.
  • Responsible for the proper shipment of dangerous goods in compliance with company policies and procedures and the International Air Transport Association.
  • Unpacks, packs, inspects, stocks and stores parts and products utilizing standard warehouse tools and equipment and motorized vehicles (forklift, pallet jack, and utility carts).
  • Responsible for maintaining the security of the Parts and Supply warehouse.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years computer experience required.
  • 1-2 years warehouse and inventory experience preferred.
