About the position

The Inventory Control Associate at Americold Logistics, LLC. is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and resolving discrepancies. This role involves conducting regular inventory counts, updating inventory systems, and assisting with special projects to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe work environment through personal actions and report safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and full physical inventories, and communicate results to management or customers.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including customer claims and adjusting inventory quantities.
  • Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System and process adjustments.
  • Assist with special projects and handle customer-specific requests.
  • Report on operational errors impacting inventory performance.
  • Perform other inventory-related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with one to three years of office experience or equivalent training.
  • Experience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Forklift license.

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
