About the position
The Inventory Control Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and resolving discrepancies. This position involves conducting regular inventory counts, updating inventory systems, and ensuring a safe work environment. The associate will work closely with management and customers to communicate inventory results and address any issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions and report safety concerns.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and full physical inventories, and record results and discrepancies.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including customer claims and missing products.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System and process adjustments as needed.
- Perform other inventory-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with one to three years of office experience or equivalent training.
- Experience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Forklift license.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
