About the position
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing the movement and assignment of inventory within the warehouse. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that all products are properly accounted for and stored in designated locations. The position requires effective communication and the ability to work cooperatively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Assign locations and maintain inventory of all products in the warehouse.
- Coordinate computer-related information concerning product inventory pallets and locations.
- Adjust inventory counts for improperly received or located inventory.
- Conduct cyclic counts of inventory and products that are not found.
- Maintain inventory by pallet in specific locations in the warehouse.
- Put up returns and good products into correct pick/replenish locations.
- Use RF terminal to track materials for inventory control.
- Report to work on time and complete all duties in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to perform medium physical activity and light strenuous activities.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and systems.
- Effective communication skills to process and relay information.
