About the position
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing inventory counts, processing returns, and ensuring the accuracy of stock levels. This part-time role involves working collaboratively across departments to maintain inventory integrity and support club operations, while also providing excellent service to members.
Responsibilities
- Execute departmental inventory counts and control cycles as prescribed by Home Office.
- Process and sort damaged or defective merchandise and returns to vendors.
- Obtain return authorizations from vendors and manage merchandise returns according to vendor policies.
- Maintain accurate stock status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
- Conduct daily safety walks and ensure compliance with club policies and procedures.
- Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper packaging guidelines.
- Support the application of club policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for members and team members.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills required.
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
