About the position

The Inventory Control Consultant at Sentara Healthcare is responsible for managing day-to-day stock control tasks to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals. This hybrid position primarily allows for remote work, with occasional office visits as needed. The role is crucial in ensuring that all hospitals maintain adequate stock levels to meet demand while providing an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day stock control tasks for Sentara hospitals.
  • Ensure adequate stock on-hand to meet demand.
  • Collaborate with the Stock Control Team to maintain inventory levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Queries).
  • Healthcare Supply Chain experience required.
  • 3 years of Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
