About the position

The Inventory Control Manager at Chadwell Supply is responsible for overseeing all processes and procedures related to product inventory within a distribution facility. This role includes managing warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining product quality and organization. The position emphasizes customer service, efficient order processing, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the branch warehouse receiving department personnel and inventory control staff.
• Perform and oversee daily cycle counts of products and manage customer and vendor returns.
• Prepare for and oversee the annual physical inventory process.
• Research product quantity discrepancies and implement necessary changes in processes or personnel.
• Ensure accurate recording of stocked products by bin location and quantity in the computer system.
• Assist Department Managers in the annual review of warehouse employees.
• Manage personnel to meet company standards of performance and attendance.
• Oversee the receiving of inbound products and ensure accuracy against packing slips.
• Conduct daily inspections of warehouse areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from vendor delivery vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous employee supervision experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
