About the position

The Inventory Control Manager at Airtec Corporation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring that materials are managed efficiently from the moment they arrive until they depart. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the inventory system and ensuring that all stock levels are accurate and up to date. The manager will coordinate closely with the purchasing manager to order stock materials or supplies as needed, ensuring that the production process runs smoothly without interruptions due to inventory shortages. In addition to managing stock levels, the Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for updating quantities of stock and warehouse locations in the computer system. This includes providing monthly inventory counts and tracking work in process to ensure that all materials are accounted for. The manager will also coordinate the entire process for inventory adjustments, overseeing receipt entry for all products received to maintain accurate records. The role requires a proactive approach to assist in ensuring that all materials are ordered or staged for each job traveler, maintaining neat, clean, and orderly inventory locations. The Inventory Control Manager will also assist the production control manager in establishing specific procedures related to inventory management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with purchasing manager when ordering stock materials or supplies

Requirements

  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
  • Must have experience or technical background in manufacturing and fabrication
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • 2 years of experience in inventory control
