About the position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, starting at 4 AM until finish. As a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler, Coke Florida is the third largest privately-held and the sixth largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. In this role, the Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for maintaining inventory system accuracy, ensuring data integrity, and managing local level audit controls and inventory levels to prevent product and raw material shortages. The successful candidate will provide training and leadership to inventory associates, support inventory cycle counts, and collaborate with site leadership on operational decisions. This position requires a proactive approach to managing inventory processes and fostering strong internal relationships to enhance collaboration and knowledge transfer. The Inventory Control Manager will supervise daily counts of full goods and raw materials, assist in reconciling inventory variances, and review various reports related to production confirmations, syrup usage, and product disposition. The role also involves advising site leadership on best practices in inventory management and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies. Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory system accuracy and data integrity.
  • Provide training and leadership to inventory associates.
  • Advise and participate in operational decisions with site leadership.
  • Lead and manage projects assigned by management.
  • Raise team and individual performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Build strong internal relationships for effective collaboration.
  • Supervise daily counts of full goods and raw materials.
  • Assist in reconciliation of inventory variances.
  • Review and research status of open purchase orders and inter-branch transfers.
  • Review SAP/BASIS reconciliation and report control failures.
  • Review daily production confirmations and syrup usage reports.
  • Audit product movement within facilities and report on short-dated products.
  • Review raw material orders and delivery schedules to meet production demands.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years warehouse/inventory experience required.
  • Production and/or warehouse experience in an inventory environment as a lead person or equivalent.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed.
