About the position

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all processes and procedures related to product inventory within a Chadwell Supply distribution facility. This role includes managing warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining product quality and organization. The position emphasizes customer service and operational efficiency, with a focus on training and supervising staff to uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the branch warehouse receiving department personnel and inventory control staff.
• Perform and oversee daily cycle counts of products and manage discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate recording of stocked products by bin location and quantity in the operating system.
• Assist in the annual review of warehouse employees and complete performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Manage personnel to meet company standards of punctuality, attendance, and professional performance.
• Oversee the receiving department to ensure accuracy in product receiving and documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from vendor delivery vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse working environment.
• Previous employee supervision experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow up effectively and maintain communication with company personnel.
